NYC’s Largest Solar Facility Set for Park at Former Landfill


The Big Apple is proving that one person’s trash is another’s treasure. Freshkills, located in the Staten Island borough of New York City, was once the world’s largest trash dump. Now it’s a park that’s set to become the site of NYC’s largest solar energy facility.
